The Spanish government has allocated a substantial number of visas for individuals willing to make significant, qualified investments that boost the economy through foreign direct investment.

Following the general immigration rules and requirements, these residents can apply for permanent residence after five years of continuous stay in Spain, with the possibility of acquiring Spanish citizenship thereafter.
